pbJob Summary: /b/ppUnder general supervision monitor production line inventory and strategically replenish materials in an extremely fast paced production environment. Load outgoing shipments according to established policies and procedures. Transfer goods to designated locations with proper documentation and authorization. Operation of Stand-Up Counterbalanced double reach truck is required to perform job functions. Assist in plant operations as needed in accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies and procedures, including policies related to food safety and quality./pp/ppbJob Responsibilities:/b/pullipComplete all required AIB food safety and quality modules on an annual basis or within one year from start date./p/lilipSafely operate the following equipment Stand-Up Counterbalanced double reach truck, electric rider pallet jack./p/lilipAdheres to all company safety and quality standards and procedures identified in the areas covering GMP’s HACCP, FDA, OSHA, AIB and BRC./p/lilipPick and Stage customer orders, load outgoing shipments while documenting inventory movements, expiration amp; lot/serial numbers using handheld scanners/p/lilipStrategically plan, stage and continually replenish materials in an extremely fast paced production environment, while documenting inventory movements, expiration date amp; lot/serial with handheld scanner./p/lilipClean and maintain warehouse areas./p/lilipFollow FIFO (First In-First Out) inventory control practices for shipping and production needs, while monitoring expiration dates./p/lilipTransfer finished goods from production lines to storage locations while documenting inventory movements, expiration amp; lot/serial numbers using handheld scanners/p/lilipPerform inventory adjustments using cycle count functionality in handheld scanner./p/lilipParticipate in physical inventory counts/p/lilipAssist other departments with pick-ups and deliveries./p/lilipGeneral Warehouse Operations./p/li/ulpbr /bRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:/b/pullipHigh School Diploma or Equivalent./p/lilipOne year of experience operating material handling equipment and handheld scanner in a manufacturing environment; or six months of manufacturing/production experience and completion of fork truck safety and operation training program./p/lilipExperienced operator of material handling equipment (stand-up forklift, pallet jack, manual pallet jack, etc./p/lilipAbility to repeated lift and/or push or pull/reach above shoulder height heavy objects weighing up to sixty (60) pounds./p/lilipAbility to read, write and count in order to correctly fill orders and conduct accurate inventory./p/li/ulpbr /bPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:/b/pullipOne year of experience operating material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment./p/lilipOne year of experience operating a handheld scanner for inventory record maintenance./p/li/ulpbr /bWorking Conditions:/b/pullipPosition requires frequent standing, lifting, bending and moving of heavy 60 pounds weight material in difficult work positions./p/lilipPosition requires ability to stand, judge distance of over 20 feet and accurately engage fork truck forks with palletized inventory and operate fork truck for 8 hour shift./p/li/ulp/pp/ppibAll items listed above are illustrative and not comprehensive.  They are not contractual in nature and are subject to change at the discretion of Champion Foods LLC./b/i/ppbr /iChampion Foods LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
