Perform the duties of a mechanic involved in inspecting, repairing, fabricating, rebuilding, and maintaining light and heavy-duty forklifts. nbsp;Work is performed under the general supervision of the Shop Foremanstrongnbsp;/strong/ppstrongJob Duties:nbsp;/strong/pulliPerforms highly skilled and complex mechanical repairs on both light and heavy forklifts.nbsp;/liliInspect forklifts, analyze, troubleshoot, and plan sequence of repair operations.nbsp;/liliAdjust or repair hydraulic, fuel and electrical systems and components./liliTest, and identify worn and damaged parts.nbsp;/liliTest, repair or install electrical systems and components.nbsp;/liliTest, repair or install hydraulic systems and components.nbsp;/liliPerform routine and scheduled maintenance on equipment.nbsp;/liliTest drive to diagnose or to verify corrections made.nbsp;/liliPerform state and federal safety inspections.nbsp;/liliComplete daily paperwork and repair orders.nbsp;/li/ulpstrongRequirements:/strong/pulli5 yearsrsquo; experience with forklift maintenance.nbsp;/liliSelf-motivated, capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision.nbsp;/liliMust have a complete set of tools.nbsp;/liliMust have knowledge of hydraulic systems.nbsp;/liliMust be able to pass physical abilities test and a drug screen upon hire as well as random periodic screenings.nbsp;/liliMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. without assistance.nbsp;/liliMust have a clean driving record and be 21 years old or older for insurability purposes.nbsp;/li/ul /div /div
