Staff will be required to perform the necessary work to maintain the optimum level of cleanliness in every building or worksite serviced by Flagship.h2Job Description/h2p style="text-align:inherit"/ppbCarpeted Areas/b/ppEmpty waste baskets and replace liners as needed./ppDust/clean tops of office furniture, cleared desks, and surfaces of tables./ppVacuum all carpeting./ppSpot clean soiled areas on carpets as needed./ppClean glass on lobby door./pp/ppbNon-Carpeted Areas/b/ppEmpty waste baskets and replace liners as needed./ppDust/clean tops of office furniture, cleared desks, and surfaces of tables./ppSweep and mop floors./pp/ppbLunchroom/Break Areas/b/ppEmpty waste baskets and replace liners as needed./ppWipe/clean all table tops and chairs./ppWipe/clean vending machines and appliances./ppClean sink and counter areas./ppSweep and mop floors./pp/ppbRestrooms/b/ppEmpty waste baskets and replace liners as needed./ppRefill all restroom dispensers as needed./ppClean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals./ppSpot clean walls, partitions, and doors as needed./ppSweep and mop floors with disinfectant./pp/ppbPeriodically/b/ppClean overhead vents - Dust blinds - Polish wood furniture./ppDust high partitions and ledges - Clean interior partition glass./ppMove cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas./ppScrub, wax, and polish floors using industrial scrubbing and buffing machines./ppSometimes use ladders, dust and wash walls, clean ceilings, and dust and polish light fixtures./ppMay remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions./ppMay sweep walkways, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, or perform other incidental seasonal tasks./pp/ppbMiscellaneous/b/ppMust keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly./ppEquipment (such as vacuums) must be properly maintained at all times./pp/ppbKnowledge and Skills/b/ppKnowledge of basic janitorial duties and responsibilities very helpful./ppMust have good listening and verbal communication skills. Some positions require the ability to speak/understand English./ppMust be able to understand and anticipate the needs of the clients./ppMust attend periodic training and safety meetings./ppMust maintain a neat appearance.
