Personal Care Aide - Part-time

Overview: p style="margin: 0px;"Delivers quality home health care services to the Agency’s clients under the direction of a Registered Nurse in accordance with physician orders, Agency and industry standards, and federal and state regulations./p Responsibilities: ulliAssists members with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility/liliEngages members in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance/liliResponds to all members needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary/liliObserves members for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and reports promptly to a licensed nurse/liliCompletes all forms and documentation such as incident reports, change of condition reports, and behavior tracking, as requested, and in a timely manner/liliPrepares and serves meals, assists with eating, not including tube feeding/liliAssist with self-administration of medications/liliMake and change bed linens/liliClean immediate living areas including bathroom and bedroom and remove trash/li/ul Qualifications: p style="margin: 0px;"Education and Experience:br /br /•CPR Certificate (preferred)br /• High school diploma or equivalentbr /• Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting also preferred/pp style="margin: 0px;" /p
