Education:nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/strong/p ul liHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required/li liCandidates must meet one of the following criteria to qualify: ul liAssociates degree in a technical discipline/li liTwo or more years machine or mechanic experience as a primary job function/li liOne year First Solar technical experience/li liSix months experience as Temporary Manufacturing Engineering Technician at First Solar/li /ul/li /ul pstrongRequired Skills/Competencies:/strong/p ul liSafety first mindset/li liGeneral electrical/electronic and mechanical knowledge/li liSelf-directed, ability to work with minimal supervision/li liGood written and oral communications skills in English/li liAble to trouble shoot and solve problems on the manufacturing line/li liAbility to deal with administrative as well as technical tasks/li /ul pstrongEssential Responsibilities:/strong/p ul liSolve day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems/li liIdentify and implement yield and product performance improvements./li liDevelop methods to assign causes to yield excursions/li liSet up and maintain gauges/li liEnsure all processes are running on target as defined by the Process Control Plan/li liRespond to SPC process control alarms, bringing processes back into control/li liExecute planned process experiments, collect and analyze data and report experimental results/li liCollect data relating to daily tool performance and associated product performance/li liSupport the operation of pilot-line equipment to define a new process/li liTransition new equipment and processes through start-up, qualification, and implementation/li liProvide training to production associates/li liDevelop and update internal documentation including drawings, standard operating procedures, and process specifications/li liInterface with internal associates and supplier representatives, as required, to complete assigned projects/li liDevelop a complete understanding of area processes, equipment, and support systems/li liProvide training to production associates/li liMaintain effective communication with production associates and manufacturing engineers/li liDisposition non-conforming product according to established criteria (NCP)/li liAdhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards/li liEnsure waste materials are discarded in their designated containers/li liEnsure hazardous waste containers stay closed except when adding or removing waste/li liEnsure satellite accumulation containers stay in their designated locations/li /ul pstrongReporting Relationships:/strong/p ul liThis position will not have direct reports./li /ul pstrongTravel:/strong/p ul liNo travel is required./li /ul pstrongEstimated Salary Range:/strong/p ul li$23.00 - $26.00/li /ul pstrongUS Physical Requirements:/strong/p ul liWill sit, stand or walk short distances fornbsp;
