pSubstitute Teacher for Nursery - Eighth Grade classroomsbr/Start Date: ASAPbr/Schedule: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM on days when needed/p pPay Rate: $20/hour/p pResponsibilities:br/The Substitute Teacher’s responsibilities might include but are not limited to:br/Collaborating with other colleagues and educators in support of the children being coveredbr/Meeting and instructing assigned classes in the locations and at the times designatedbr/Maintaining a classroom environment conducive to effective learningbr/Supervising lunch, rest, and/or recessbr/Helping with set up, clean up, and some clerical workbr/Taking all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, materials, equipment, and facilitiesbr/Abiding by school regulations for health and safety during the 2023-2024 school year during the pandemic (ex: mask wearing, distancing)/p pSubstitutes specializing in Elementary Music, Physical Education, Art, Spanish, Library, and Movement are also needed./p pAll teachers help build a collaborative, cooperative, and reflective approach to working as a classroom teaching team./p pQualifications:br/High School diploma required and Bachelor’s degree preferredbr/Experience managing a classroom and teaching children preferredbr/Experience with progressive education preferredbr/Willingness to collaborate and work as part of a team, as well as develop skills in working with individual children, small groups, and the whole class/p pPlease submit your cover letter and resume to apply for this opportunity.
