pDescription/ppstrongBANQUET SET UP SUMMARY:/strong/ppSet up and/or breakdown tables and buffet or other special food service tables, stations and equipment according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO), layout and lists as well as provide banquet staff with equipment needs and service support./ppbr//ppstrongWHAT YOU GET TO DO:/strong/pulliFollow set up diagrams to properly set a room to specifications, including but not limited to, arranging tables, chairs, audio visual equipment, dance floors and additional furniture; steaming linens, skirting tables, moving banquet equipment etc…/liliOrganize equipment and maintain stock levels of essential inventory/liliBreaking down events and returning inventory/equipment to its proper storage space/liliDeliver equipment, furniture and products to off-site venues/liliMaintain the organization and safety of banquet storage areas/liliBussing/liliComplete tasks within a specific timeline/liliAssist banquet team members and supervisors as needed/liliUnderstand the installation, set-up and operation of audio visual equipment/liliMaintain cleanliness and organization of banquet kitchen and catering facilities/li/ulpbr//ppRequirements/ppstrongWHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:/strong/pulliWork independently and take direction/liliMaintain a high degree of organization, detail orientation and ability to multi-task/liliAbility to communicate effectively with and receive information from guests and coworkers/liliConsistently maintain a positive and professional attitude and demeanor/liliPossess a knowledge of local area, the hotel and resort amenities/liliActively practice excellent customer service skills/liliPossess a Driver’s License and a clean driving record/li/ul
