div h4Job Details/h4 divstrongSalary Range/strong: nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;$16.00 - $19.00 Hourly/div /div h4Description/h4div pstrongJob Summary/strong/p pResponsible for the cleanliness of the public and guest areas of the hotel and restaurant./p pstrongDuties and Responsibilities General/strong/p ol liResponsible for the cleaning of corridors, guest areas, service areas and linen closets./li liEmpty housekeepers' trash and linen bags./li liDeposits linen down chute and carries trash to dumpster./li liVacuums corridors and/or guestrooms./li liDelivers rollaway and cribs to guestrooms./li liTurns mattresses as directed by management./li liStocks supplies needed for linen closets./li liVacuums public areas./li liSweeps and mops service landings./li liMops vending machine areas and keeps machines clean./li liChecks all public restrooms for cleanliness several times daily./li liChecks each floor to make sure fire doors are open./li liChecks elevators for cleanliness./li liAssists with luggage handling./li liCleans rooms when needed./li liChange bed linen daily./li liVacuum carpeting./li liDust all furniture (picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, dressers)./li liRemove fingerprints and smudges (ex. mirrors, shiny surfaces, windows, etc)./li liThoroughly clean the bathroom area - wash shower stall, sink, floor, toilet, etc./li liMake sure that the standard room set-up is complied with./li liReport immediately all damage found in a room./li liReport immediately all missing items in room. Report immediately personal guest items found in vacant rooms./li liNotify Housekeeping Supervisor of all rollaways or cribs in rooms for pick-up and storage./li liTake responsibility for pass key and make sure it is turned in daily./li liTurn in immediately all "lost and found" items to supervisor./li liReport immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor: ul liNo luggage/li liNo service needed./li liSleep outs./li liExtra guests./li liAnything unusual./li /ul /li liShut off all lights, TVs and air conditioners when leaving room./li liChecks lights and changes bulbs./li liMaintains outside grounds daily./li liAssists in the unloading of deliveries and the proper storage of such./li liMaintenance of the marquee./li liSorts linens for washer./li liRemoves stains from badly soiled linen./li liOperates washers and dryers properly./li liFolds all linens to hotel standards./li liWashes banquet and kitchen laundry./li liWashes bedspreads, bed pads, and blankets per instructions../li liKeeps laundry area neat and clean./li liChecks daily for all banquet and restaurant linen needs./li liHandles all laundry chemical products properly and advises Housekeeper of inventory levels./li liAssists other Housekeepers in other areas when laundry is slow or work is caught up./li liPerforms any other duties as assigned by supervisors./li liAdheres to all company policies amp; procedures amp; brand standards./li /ol /divh4Qualifications/h4brpstrongRequirements/strong/p p style="margin-left:5.05pt;"Must have knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques. Must have the ability to lift, bend, move heavy equipment, and remain on one's feet for extended periods of time. Must have good communication skills, Spanish speaking skills a plus. Must be team oriented and dedicated to providing excellent service and ensuring that the brand#8217;s highest standards are met. Each team member is considered a salesperson for the property. Must be able to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays. Any hotel employee may be asked to use their personal vehicle for business purposes at any time./p
