Pre-registers for all disciplines before first appointment preparing chart./li liCopy and mail/fax initial evaluations and progress/discharge notes, when signed by therapist, to appropriate physicians./li liPerforms reception functions and assures that the telephones are answered and patients/visitors are greeted in a timely, courteous and professional manner./li liPerforms registration functions and assures timely, efficient and customer-friendly registration system. Has to be able to evaluate each registration/admission and be alerted to potential problems, including pre-certification or financial assistance for the patient./li liProcesses insurance eligibility and benefits verification for all outpatient rehabilitation patients./li liProcesses insurance pre-authorizations for all outpatient rehabilitation patients./li liAccurately records authorization specifics into EPIC and monitors frequency limitations of benefit./li liAssists in resolving account denials routed to specific Work Queue lists within EPIC. /li liKeeps prior authorization Work Queue list up-to-date and follows-up on aging requests./li liWorks with therapists to resolve pre-billing edits to ensure timely filing and clean-claim requirement./li liProvides great customer service in a busy, multitasking, fast paced environment/li /ul p /p h2Qualifications/h2 pstrongEducation: /strongHigh School diploma or GED. /p p /p p*Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.  The salary range listed does not include other forms of compensation which may include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role./p
