In conjunction with the Behavior Intervention Specialist, the Behavior Intervention Coach is responsible for the psychological assessment and behavior improvement of assigned individuals and for the development and implementation of individual and/or group treatment programs, either directly or through the direction of assigned staff members./span/p p style="text-align:justify;"span style="font-size:12pt;"stronguEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities/u/strong: /span/p ul li style="text-align:justify;"span style="font-size:12pt;"All essential job duties and responsibilities will be done in conjunction with the Behavior Intervention Specialist and include the following.#160; Other duties may be assigned:/span/li li style="text-align:justify;"span style="font-size:12pt;"Participate in the development of individual program plan as a member of the Team./span/li li style="text-align:justify;"span style="font-size:12pt;"Provide crisis intervention, both in response to the crisis and follow-up services as needed./span/li li style="text-align:justify;"span style="font-size:12pt;"Ensure continuity/coordination of services with families and other service providers./span/li li style="text-align:justify;"span style="font-size:12pt;"Provide ongoing consultation with clinical, supervisory and other staff regarding psychological and behavioral issues regarding individuals under their care./span/li li style="text-align:justify;"span style="font-size:12pt;"Assists in the completion and documenting of monthly reports, services review, including behavior plans, annuals, case conferences, etc. as needed, within a timely basis./span/li li style="text-align:justify;"span style="font-size:12pt;"Complete assigned responsibilities within the preadmission process including evaluation/screening and recommendations./span/li li style="text-align:justify;"span style="font-size:12pt;"Participates in any consumer driven meeting, review, evaluation, as deemed appropriate./span/li li style="text-align:justify;"span style="font-size:12pt;"Review and understand all behavior support plans.#160; /span/li li style="text-align:justify;"span style="font-size:12pt;"Instruct staff in carrying out the behavior support plans as written.#160; Particularly works with all residential staff on a regular basis, to implement behavioral programs and plan additional interventions as needed./span/li li style="text-align:justify;"span style="font-size:12pt;"Provide coaching to staff on how to implement the behavior support plans as written, via modeling, verbal feedback, written feedback, and additional training. /span/li li style="text-align:justify;"span style="font-size:12pt;"Mandatory attendance at required inservice training, along with ability to demonstrate understanding and compliance with both OPWDD regulations and Block Institute policy and procedure requirements.#160; /span/li lispan style="font-size:12pt;"All Block Employees will be required to learn and master the use of any and all software systems and technology utilized by the Agency, on a Program-by-Program basis.#160;
