We are currently seeking a font color="red"bBus Assistant/b/font for our Customer Service Center (CSC) in font color="red"bGrayslake, IL./b/font. /font/div divbfont face="Arial" size="2" /font/b/div divbfont face="Arial" size="2"Responsibilities:/font/b/div ul lifont face="Arial" size="2"Reports any maintenance problems to Maintenance in accordance with Company procedure and does not operate an unsafe vehicle./font/li lifont face="Arial" size="2"Physically assists passengers in evacuation of the vehicle in case of emergency./font/li lifont face="Arial" size="2"Reports to duty on time and maintains route on time but in a safe manner./font/li lifont face="Arial" size="2"Immediately reports any accident or incident per Company policy./font/li lifont face="Arial" size="2"Exercises  student  management  through  communication  and  discipline  per Company policy./font/li lifont face="Arial" size="2"Reports discipline problems to school officials as instructed./font/li lifont face="Arial" size="2"Keeps the interior of the assigned vehicle clean and presentable./font/li lifont face="Arial" size="2"Presents a neat and professional appearance at all times./font/li lifont face="Arial" size="2"Ensures vehicle is properly fueled according to facility procedures./font/li lifont face="Arial" size="2"Completes all required paperwork (including route change sheets, time cards, vehicle repair requests) and submits to the appropriate authority in a timely manner./font/li lifont face="Arial" size="2"Attends all assigned training, safety meetings and in-service meetings./font/li lifont face="Arial" size="2"Maintains a cooperative attitude with fellow employees, supervisors, parents, and school personnel; always promoting company goodwill./font/li lifont face="Arial" size="2"Prepares vehicle for inclement weather conditions, including scraping or cleaning windows, applying tire chains./font/li lifont face="Arial" size="2"Safely and efficiently utilizes bus equipment, including wheelchair lifts, radios and emergency equipment./font/li /ul divfont face="Arial" size="2"Other duties as assigned./font/div /blockquote br pfont face="Arial" size="3"/font/pdivfont face="Arial" size="3"bRequirements Include:/b /font/divfont face="Arial" size="3" ul type="disc" liMust be at least 18 years of age /liliMust meet physical and medical requirements. /liliMust satisfactorily complete and pass all training and attend safety meetings and in-service meetings in order to remain qualified. /liliMust have a high degree of attention to detail and considerable dexterity to safely use various types of restraints, secure wheelchairs, etc. /liliAbility to relate to and work well with children. /liliAbility to maintain effective pupil behavior management. /liliHigh level of professionalism and diplomacy skills to work with students, fellow employees, parents, and school district personnel. /liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills. /liliAbility to lift and assist students when necessary. /li/ul div /div div align="center"iEqual Opportunity Employer/i/div/fontp/p
