This is an hourly position working an average of 29 hours a week on Varied Shifts. Hourly positions are not eligible for benefits./ppbrbGeorgia Regional Hospital – Savannah (GRHS)/b operates 180 licensed, accredited inpatient beds for two major program areas: 1) adult mental health, 2) adult forensic services./ppbrbGRHS/b offers inpatient adult mental health services, inpatient habilitation services and forensic program services to a catchment area of approximately 45 Georgia counties.brbr/ppbJob Summary:/bbrbrUnder general supervision, assists with daily living activities at the Community Integration Home (CIH). Observes and monitors resident’s behavior and charts observations and incidents. Provides training of basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills to residents of the CIH. Maintains a consistent high quality level of care, serving as a role model for residents. May assist with meal preparation, ensuring or encouraging residential group activity, providing transportation, and/or limited case management.brbrbPrimary Duties Responsibilities:/bbrbr• Arranges for needed medical care and provides needed services to assure that medicalbrcare is obtained.br• Assists with the development of an individual service/treatment plan for each assignedbrconsumer/student.br• Counsels and advises residents on behavioral problems, daily decision-making, and thebrresolution of minor problems.br• Instructs and advises residents on daily living skills in one-on-one or groupbrInstruction.br• Observes and monitors resident behavior.br• Participates in case reviews, consulting with the team to evaluate the resident’s needs and plan for continuing services.br• Performs housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, washing clothes and dishes, andbrrunning errands.br• Plans, shops for, and prepares meals, including special diets, and assists families inbrplanning, shopping for, and preparing nutritious meals.br• Prepares and maintains records of resident progress and services performed, reportingbrchanges in resident condition to manager or supervisor.br• Provides transportation for residents to appointments and activities.brbrb**You may log on to Team Georgia for status of your application.
