Our client, has a current position available for a Security Architect in Raleigh, NC./pstrongJob Description:/strongpAs a Security Architect, you will join a team charged with ensuring a leading investment bank can identify, defend and respond against both internal and external cyber security threats. The role is part of a small but diverse team of architects spread across the globe. As an Architect your key responsibilities will include:/pulliWorking with Cyber Security Product Management, Engineering, and Operations team to understand business requirements, levels of demand and impact on technical architecture/liliWorking with the stakeholders to assess implications of architecture decisions for both new and existing capabilities/liliDesigning the low-level, technical capability architecture for new and modified capabilities and ensuring that the design can deliver to defined business requirements/liliDefining and prioritizing investment required to deliver the capability architecture/liliDeveloping and managing lifecycle, roadmaps and reference architecture for the capability/liliEnsuring adherence to GCTO architectural standards, principles and policies/liliPublishing capability upgrade and maintenance plans /liliProviding input into the capability development and optimization/liliActing as a subject matter expert for all capability architecture related discussions and issues/liliDeveloping relationships with 3rd party suppliers when necessary/li/ulpbr /strongYour goals will include:/strong/pulliSupporting the Capability Owner in developing low level technical architecture to support the capability roadmap/liliUnderstanding demand for the capability from service owners/liliEnsuring adherence to architecture standards/liliAligning the capability roadmap with changing service roadmaps/li/ulp /pul/ulstrongQualifications:/strongpstrongEssentials Skills and Qualifications:/strong/pulliAbility to transform functional requirements into detailed technical specifications/liliStrong experience in business analysis, IT planning and design/liliExtensive experience in a security engineering or architecture roles/liliDeep knowledge of enterprise-scale security systems and architectures/liliA strong understanding of current technology trends and competitive forces/liliAbility to develop custom technical component integration plans/liliAdvanced Linux or Windows experience/liliA degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline and at least 5 years of relevant experience or a high-school diploma and at least 10 years of relevant experience /liliExtensive experience in planning and designing solutions using APIs, workflow orchestration and automation/liliDevelops strong customer, peer and senior relationships globally/liliAbility to effectively communicate with and influence senior stakeholders/liliAble to effectively communicate technical concepts to business users / customers/liliStrong critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills/liliClear understanding of information security, backed by a depth and breadth of supporting technical knowledge, especially in the field of Cyber Security/li/ulpbr /strongDesired Skills and Qualifications:/strong/pulliExtensive experience across all phases of the service delivery lifecycle/liliExperience of application of Agile/DevOps methodologies/liliExperience with tools such as Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) and configuration management systems such as Chef, Puppet, BOSH/li/ulstrongAdditional Information:/strongpstrongThis is a contract position./strong/p
