Loads, unloads and moves material within or near plant, yard, or worksite by hand and lift truck./ppbESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:/b/pulliReads work orders/shipping orders and follows verbal instructions to locate product in warehouse/rental yard./liliLoads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks and shelves using forklift, hand truck or by hand./liliLoads material into vehicles and prepares with strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit/liliUses safe material handling procedures when lifting, or moving equipment and material or when directing movement./liliAttaches identifying tags, or labels to material or packaging containers./liliStacks and assembles material and equipment into bundles and uses banding, skids, and containers appropriately./liliCleans products, materials, equipment and yard area to keep free of debris./liliInspects and prepares products, equipment and hardware for re-stocking and re-rental by cleaning, and repairing to standard./liliMay use form cleaning machinery and/or power and hand tools in renovating forms as needed./liliMaintains accurate inventory counts and location status of inventory; maintains inventory in a neat and orderly manner./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./li/ulstrongQualifications:/strongpbEDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:/b/ppb/b/pulliHS Diploma or equivalent./liliMust have the ability to read, write, and understand English./liliMust be a trained and certified forklift operator, with a current/valid license./liliAbility to use basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, and counting./liliMust have a minimum of one (1) year prior rental/warehouse/distribution material handler experience./liliAbility to read, understand, and use all safety operating procedures and equipment./liliAbility to operate air tools and hand tools; and wear appropriate personal protective equipment./liliPHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:/liliRequires ability to walk, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at waist, and climb./liliWarehouse/Yard Material Handler - Rental/liliMust lift objects and move up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis./liliPPE hearing protection, safety glasses, hard hat and safety steel toe shoes are required./liliExposed to outside inclement weather conditions including rain, heat, cold, and snow./liliOccasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals./li/ulpbspanPHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:/span/bspan/span/pullispanRequires ability to walk, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at waist, and climb./spanspan/span/lilispanWarehouse/Yard Material Handler – Rental/spanspan/span/lilispanMust lift objects and move up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis./spanspan/span/lilispanPPE hearing protection, safety glasses, hard hat and safety steel toe shoes are required./spanspan/span/lilispanExposed to outside inclement weather conditions including rain, heat, cold, and snow./spanspan/span/li/ulpbr //ppYou can reach me at 734-418-0075 for further details.br //pstrongAdditional Information:/strongpAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines./p
