The right candidate is one who is eager to learn, has a great attitude and /spanspanis committed to delivering quality work every time. /span/ppbr //pstrongJob Description:/strongpPrimary responsibilities and qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:/pp• Typeset amp; print design of customer collateral amp; promotional material/pp• Produces layouts based upon external and internal requests or pre-established campaign or graphic /ppstandard system/pp• Performs pre-press responsibilities to include but not limited to scaling, cropping, retouching, repositioning, pre-flighting, optimizing and packaging final files and preparing for print, distribution and archival./pp• Ensures accuracy of work and files, quality checks and constantly looking to improve the quality of work /ppand standards/pp• Archives assets properly and manages shared digital assets/pp• Manages project workload and deadlines/pp• Communicates with customers and internal staff/pp• Follows a layout to place computer generated vinyl or full-color graphic images on a pre-determined substrate /ppor medium/pp• Prepares substrates for application which may include cutting, laminating, cleaning and maintaining the substrates for vinyl application/pp• Weeds excess vinyl from computer cut images/pp• Performs quality assurance measures pre- and post-production/pp• Performs finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating and/or mounting of printed pieces/pp• Reports inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the Owner/pp• Works on different projects simultaneously/pp• Performs routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary/pp• Loads materials on/into printer and/or laminator which may require some heavy lifting/pp• Cutting, weeding and applying vinyl for heat press requests/pp• Internal print design for marketing department/pp• Graphic work for web or social media/pp• Detail oriented with an ability to multi-task /pp• Other job related duties or projects as assigned /ppbr //pstrongQualifications:/strongp• Strong verbal and written communications skills/pp• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite CS5 or higher (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop amp; Acrobat Pro)/pp• Excellent writing and editing skills and a keen eye for details/pp• Provide a portfolio of work and speak to the creative, technical and production management skills /pp• Ability to work full-time in office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. /pp• Follows all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes/pstrongAdditional Information:/strongpAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines./p
