To date, we have handled billing for more than ​200 million patients. /pstrongJob Description:/strongp• Following up on unresolved claims./pp• Make phone calls and use insurance company websites to check on claim status./pp• Identify why payment has not been received from the payer or why it has been denied/underpaid by the payer./pp• Take appropriate actions to resolve issues in a way that results in payment and/or complete closure of insurance balance./pp• Other duties as assigned/ppbr //pstrongQualifications:/strongp• Medical billing experience is helpful./pp• Problem solving, research, organization, detail oriented, flexibility to work on competing priorities /pp• Able to work independently, identify patterns, make informed decisions, correctly identifying root causes to determine appropriate actions and outcomes/pp• 2+ years of experience in eligibility/enrollment for medicaid and social security disability programs./pp• Ability to completely and concisely summarize important details in account notes and excellent verbal communication skills are a must. /ppbr //pstrongAdditional Information:/strongpAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.  /ppThis is a Hourly, Non-Exempt position.
