Duties include nbsp;picking, put away, and inventory counting. This position may be assigned to a nbsp;specific warehouse job function or to multiple areas as determined by business nbsp;necessity.nbsp;/ppstrongPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliOperate a cherry picker power equipment./liliPerform safe operation of warehouse material nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;handling equipment including cherry pickers./liliProperly maintain said power equipment including nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;proper battery charging and cleaning./liliProperly label cartons as required to identify nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;shipment and product information./liliIdentify inventory discrepancies noted to nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;performance of duties and works with others to resolve./liliFulfill replenishment movements accurately and nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;productively following designated procedures./liliPut away received items from the dock area nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;accurately and completely./liliMaintain neat and accurate inventory positions in nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;racks./liliCommunicate issues and problems on a timely basis nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;to management team members./li/ulp· Transport and load materials, supplies, and finished goods with power equipment (e.g., cherry picker, EPJ, reach truck)./pp· Maintain ongoing housekeeping and orderliness./pp· Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follow safety guidelines and procedures in accordance with the job./pp· Perform additional duties as assigned./ppstrongJOB REQUIREMENTS/strongnbsp;/pp· Education: nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;High School Diploma or equivalent specific experience/pp· Minimum of nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;1-2 years related experience or equivalent./pulliAbility nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;to operate 1 – 3 of powered equipment used at NLA (Cherry Picker, Reach nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Lift, Pallet Jack, Forklift)/liliSafe nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;lifting, turning, stacking and material handling techniques/liliBasic nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners./li/ulp· Basic warehouse concepts of inventory controls, product movement, order picking/pp· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills./pp· Ability to perform basic math calculations./pp· Ability to work with minimal supervision./pp· Strong attention to detail./pp· Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions./ppPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:nbsp;/pp· Possess cherry picker or reach truck operators’ certifications./ppstrongADDITIONAL INFORMATION:nbsp;/strong/pp· Actively supports and complies with Company’s objectives, guidelines and commitment to Quality and Safety, with an emphasis on continual improvement./pp· Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels./pp· Must have the ability to complete assignments within the timeframe specified by the Manager./pp· Must be flexible regarding working hours and overtime. Must be able to work overtime on evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice./pp· Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously./ppbr//ppRequirements/ppnbsp;/ppstrongPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS/strong/ppThe working environment may include warm/cold/dry damp conditions that will be encountered by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
