Exceptional guest service is a major component of this position./p p /p pstrongKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: /strong/p ul li pExhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders./p /li li pDemonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests accurately./p /li li pUses Point of Sale system/cash register (cashier) to record the order and compute the amount of the bill./p /li li pCollects payment from guests and makes change./p /li li pPerforms Cash-In Procedure- accounting for all forms of money, bread, etc., during the shift./p /li li pPrepares food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner./p /li li pChecks products in sandwich unit area and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift./p /li li pUnderstands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up./p /li li pCleans and maintains all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image. Understands and adheres to the Wash, Rinse, and Sanitize method of cleaning./p /li /ul ul li pUnderstands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the Subway� Operations Manual: Daily Procedures./p /li li pMaintains a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the Subway� Operations Manual: Daily Procedures./p /li li pPerforms light paperwork duties as assigned./p /li li pCompletes University of Subway� courses as directed./p /li /ul pstrongESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:/strong/p ul li pMust be at least sixteen (16) years of age./p /li li pAbility to understand and implement written and verbal instruction./p /li li pAbility to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business./p /li li pMust be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register (cashier).
