Mueller Superintendent is responsible for managing construction projects on-site including safety, field employees, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets to ensure the successful execution of the project. /p pstrongEvaluation of Performance/strong/p pNew hires receive a 90-day performance review, otherwise, annual reviews are conducted thereafter. The performance will be evaluated based on meeting specific goals, deadlines, and other quality indicators established for this position, working according to policies and standards established by Al J. Mueller, working effectively in a team environment, and interacting positively with all clients, subcontractors, and employees./p pstrongEssential Functions/strong/p ulliOversees construction sites including productivity, safety, quality, and Al J. Mueller employees.nbsp; /liliOrders materials for projects and ensures they are on-site when needed. Issue PO and cost code accordingly. /liliFrequent email communication with subcontractors and suppliers communicating schedule and work in place. /liliTime entry and daily logs. /liliConduct or delegate Daily Preparation Process (DPP)/liliUpdate the Field Operations Manager with 2 week look ahead for manpower and equipment./liliCreate and maintain a positive work environment for all project personnel. /liliResponsible to ensure the right subcontractors, equipment, and materials are on-site at the right time. /liliPush subcontractors and suppliers for commitments and hold them accountable as needed. /liliRequests manpower and equipment resources to the appropriate as needed for the project. /liliEnsures positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees are being maintained. /liliParticipates in project-specific meetings before, during, and after the completion of the project. /liliEnsures high levels of communication with Project Managers to understand and meet workload needs./liliEnsures Company safety policies and procedures are followed. /li/ul pstrongCritical skills, knowledge, and behaviors /strong/p ulliDemonstrates the ability to read, interpret, and use drawings, specifications, sketches, plans, and other visual instructions, either in print or digital form, in order to perform the required work. .nbsp; /liliDemonstrates ability to read and interpret owner contract provisions and implement as needed during a project. /liliDemonstrates understanding of drafting, engineering, and building techniques and terminology./liliAble to manage multiple projects including the ability to create, understand, follow, and meet schedules. Mueller Safety Manual and/or owner job site requirements while meeting OSHA standards./liliOften exposed to hot or cold temperatures, depending on the weather, as well as sawdust and other material dust particles./liliAre sometimes exposed to hazardous equipment./liliMay work in buildings without heating or air conditioning, such as portable trailers or unfinished structures./li/ul
