Each team member is responsible for a variety of tasks, including trash removal, vacuuming, window washing, sweeping, and maintaining the cleanliness of our planters, landscaping, and facilities throughout the campus.brbrstrongKey Responsibilities /strongbr• Ensure the cleanliness of Aquarium exhibits, buildings, Aqua Theater and grounds. Including windows, garbage areas, and bathroom facilitiesbr• Litter removal from our planters, parking lots, and landscapingbr• Assist with seating guests during Aqua Theater shows and support operations during demonstrationsbr• Reporting needed repairs, damaged equipment and vandalism affecting exhibitsbr• Complete additional cleaning tasks and assist other team members as neededbr• Set up and break down for Aquarium events, ensuring everything is ready and in orderbr• Provide exceptional guest service by maintaining a general knowledge of park attractions and amenities, answering inquires, and ensuring a positive experience in line with WCS guest service standardsbr /divh3Qualification Requirements/h3divQualificationsbr• Ability to remain outdoors for long periods of time in a variety of weather conditionsbr• Ability to frequently move objectives up to 35 pounds.br• Prior experience working in facilities or cleaning preferredbr• Knowledge of cleaning equipment a plusbr• Reliable and Dependable br• Must work Weekends and all HolidaysbrbrLocationsbrbr• New York Aquarium (Brooklyn)brbrbrEOE/ AA/M/F/Vets/Disabledbr#LI-DNI/divh3Opportunity Type/h3divTemporary/Seasonal /divh3Salary Range/h3div17.00/div/div
