The hourly rate for this position is $16.38./strong/ppMiddlebury College is searching for staff to perform a variety of supportive functions within The Tavern on the Tee food and beverage service at The Ralph Myhre Golf Course.nbsp;/ppThe employee in this position will perform a wide variety of tasks each day to support smooth functioning of the food and beverage service business.nbsp; This requires flexibility, enthusiasm and a desire to work with a team.nbsp; We are happy to train folks with the right attitude.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/pp/ppstrongResponsibilities may include:/strong/pul liCleans serving area throughout and after each meal./li liRestocks dispensers and other supplies./li liSupports receiving and storage of daily deliveries, restocks displays for self-service snacks and beverages./li liBusses and wipes tables to support service./li liSupport food delivery to customers during peak service times./li liMay assist with simple food preparation. For example: peeling and cutting vegetables or assisting in making sandwiches, dressings, etc./li liProcesses soiled dishes, glassware and silverware, pots and pans per instructions./li liMust follow sanitation guidelines. Reload chemicals and dish soap as needed./li liMaintains dish room equipment and reports malfunctions to Management./li liSweeps and mops kitchen and dish room area./li liRinse all trash cans and compost containers and ensure they are properly and safely stored./li /ulpstrongRequirements/strong/ppNo previous experience is required./pul liRequires practice of proper health sanitation and good math skills, i.e. ability to make change./li liRequires frequent and repetitive bending, reaching, twisting and overhead reaching./li liRequires frequent walking and long periods of time standing./li /ulp/ppstrongQualifications:/strong/pulliMust physically be able to lift strong10-30 lbs./strong numerous times each day./li/ulul liMust be able to lift full glass racks and coffee racks above waist level./li liMust be able to work in a hot and humid environment./li /ul
