The purpose of the property inspection is:/polliTo verify property occupancy./liliTo report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application./liliMost inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gonebrvacant./li/olpWe contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors./ppResponsibilities/pullipMost common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes./p/lilipComplete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned/p/lilipReport general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards./p/lilipTake 9+ photos of the property with brief comments./p/lilipComplete a short form in an app/p/lilipRequires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory./p/li/ulh3Requirements#160;(to be considered you must have the following):/h3ullipComputer with an internet connection/p/lilipReliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus as you will be paying for your own gas)/p/lilipSmartphone (Android or iPhone)/p/lilipPrinter/p/lilipPass a standard background check using a valid driver's license/p/li/ulh3Pay and Hours/h3ullipThis is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate. Rates vary based on county and volume. Although you are paid per inspection, you will earn the equivalent of $20-$30#160;per hour./p/lilipDepending on a county and if it is urban or rural you will complete anywhere from 20-500 inspections per month working 2-30 hours per week. Lower volume counties have higher rates and higher volume counties have lower rates. There is no set amount of inspections per month, but the work is consistent month-to-month./p/lilipEarn more as you become established, have greater availability to inspect or are willing to cover a larger territory./p/lilipNo additional mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection./p/li/ul
