Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a full-time nights position in Ohio, requiring ARRT(CT) certification and experience with GE CT equipment.

  • Hospital-based diagnostic imaging department
  • \n
  • Performs diagnostic CT examinations and assists physicians with invasive CT procedures
  • \n
  • Experience with GE VCT and GE Revolution CT equipment is required
  • \n
  • 4x10 hour night shifts from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
  • \n
  • No weekend shifts required
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • ARRT(CT) certification required; NMTCB, CNMT, or RVT also accepted
  • \n
  • Current BLS/BCLS certification required
  • \n
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved school
  • \n
  • ARRT registration in both radiography and CT required
  • \n
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred
  • \n
  • Active Ohio state license required if applicable
  • \n
  • Must be able to occasionally exert up to 10 lbs of force and perform sedentary work with intermittent walking or standing
  • \n
Additional Information\n

  • Responsibilities include performing and documenting diagnostic CT examinations, preparing studies for radiologist interpretation, and conducting quality control analysis
  • \n
  • Administers oral and IV contrast media under physician direction or per protocol
  • \n
  • Assists physicians with special CT-guided procedures
  • \n
  • Transports, moves, and positions patients safely and appropriately
  • \n
  • Participates in departmental quality assurance and quality control activities
  • \n
