CT Technologist - Nights (4-10's)

Schedule\n

This position offers a nights schedule of 4-10 hour shifts (7:30 PM to 6 AM) from Monday to Thursday, with no weekends required.

Job Description\n

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT examinations and assists physicians with invasive CT procedures. Responsibilities include preparing examinations for interpretation, maintaining radiation safety, preparing completed examinations for radiologist review, and operating CT and related equipment. The technologist will administer oral and intravenous contrast media under physician direction, transport and position patients safely, and participate in quality assurance and control activities related to CT.

• Performs and documents diagnostic CT examinations.

• Assists physicians with special procedures involving CT.
\n
• Maintains radiation safety standards.
\n
• Analyzes CT examinations for quality control purposes.
\n
• Participates in quality assurance and quality control activities.
\n
• Operates all facility-based computer systems.
\n

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

To qualify, candidates must have an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school, be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in both radiography and CT, and maintain licensure requirements with the state of Ohio. Candidates should also possess annual CPR certification and have a minimum of two years of experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred.
