Sheet Metal Fabricator

Description:

The Sheet Metal Fabricator will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, fabricating metal components or structures, and performing quality checks on finished products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Mark cutting and bending lines.
• Fabricate band construct metal components.
• Perform quality checks on completed products.
• Follow all safety regulations.
• Measure meticulously and plan well to reduce waste.
• Set up metalwork machinery, including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, and shears.
• Grind and finish completed products.
• Maintain associated fabrication records.

Requirements:

• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Work experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role.
• Demonstrate excellent eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to work for long periods of time if required.
• Hardworking and detail-oriented individual.
• Ability to use a variety of tools and duct materials.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
