American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification for a cardiac cath lab position requiring IEMA licensure and AHA-certified BLS and ACLS.

- Hospital-based cardiac cath lab setting \n
- Procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath, IABP, IVUS, Impella, biopsies, CVC, PICC, tunneled HD catheters, fistulograms, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, drain placements, ureteral stents, nephrostomy tubes, thrombectomies, thrombolysis, Y-90 treatments, and embolizations \n
- Equipment includes Siemens C-Arm (single and bi-plane) and GE ultrasound \n
- EMR is Epic; Omnicell experience is also utilized \n
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM \n
- Weekend availability is required \n
- On-call is required with a 30-minute call-back time; weekday on-call shifts are 13.5 hours with the ability to pick call days in rotation with other team members \n
- May be required to float to a different unit or facility upon manager request \n

- Minimum of 1 year of experience; 2+ years preferred, with at least 1 year in an interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP lab preferred \n
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences; Bachelor of Science Degree preferred \n
- Current ARRT certification \n
- Current IEMA licensure (Illinois license must be in hand — no emergency or pending licensure); license required if applicable \n
- Current BLS through the American Heart Association \n
- ACLS through the American Heart Association (preferred at hire; required within 6 months) \n
- Experience with Epic and Omnicell \n
- Two references required for consideration, including at least one from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge RN within the past year \n
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration \n
- Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are accepted but may be subject to a local pay rate \n

- Perform interventional and diagnostic cath lab procedures including cardiac catheterization, IR, and special procedures across a broad range of modalities \n
- Vaccination status is required for consideration \n
