Location: Fayetteville, NC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 – 19:00); non-consecutive days, every other weekend, call required
Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements:

Perform interventional radiology procedures in a special procedures unit

Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures
\t \t - \t
Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for IR cases
\t \t - \t
Operate and maintain interventional imaging equipment while ensuring radiation safety
\t \t - \t
Monitor patients throughout procedures and provide post-procedure care
\t \t - \t
Accurately document procedures and patient care using Epic
\t \t - \t
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
\t \t - \t
Float within scope to similar units as needed to meet departmental demands
\t \t - \t
Participate in weekend rotations and required on-call coverage

Make up missed scheduled shifts as deemed necessary by the department

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience (required)

MUST have IR experience; first-time travelers accepted
\t \t - \t
Experience in acute care, trauma, and teaching hospital settings preferred

Strong technical, clinical, and patient care skills
\t \t - \t
Ability to work flexible, non-consecutive day shifts

Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred
