American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a weekend-only position requiring current MA Radiology and Mammography licensure, ARRT certification, and experience performing screening and diagnostic mammograms.

- Work is performed at a hospital-based mammography imaging unit and various offsite locations within a 10-mile radius \n
- Candidate must be available to cover shifts at offsite locations between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM \n
- Weekend-only schedule: Saturday and Sunday shifts ranging from 8, 10, or 12 hours totaling 36–40 hours per week depending on department needs \n
- Shifts vary week to week based on department needs; flexibility is required \n
- Tech-to-machine ratio is 1:1 \n
- Charting is done in Epic \n
- 13-week contract \n

- Current Massachusetts Radiology and Mammography License required (license required if applicable); MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted \n
- Current ARRT certification required \n
- BLS certification required — AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this location \n
- Digital mammography training with 8 hours of documentation required \n
- Tomosynthesis training with 8 hours of documentation required \n
- Documentation of 15 hours of CEUs within the past 3 years required \n
- Documentation of mammography statistics from the past two years required \n
- Experience performing screening and diagnostic mammograms required \n
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted \n
- 2 professional references required for consideration \n
- Local candidates must have a permanent residence more than 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to be eligible at the standard rate \n

- Candidate performs screening and diagnostic mammograms, with coverage across the main facility and nearby offsite locations \n
- Experience with stereotactic biopsies is preferred but not required \n
- Candidate must be comfortable working independently \n
- Schedule varies from week to week and requires flexibility \n
- Time keeping is managed through UKG/Kronos \n
- Parking costs may apply depending on work location; public transportation is an option at some locations \n
