Shipping Clerk - 2nd Shift

JOB TITLE: CHIEF SHIPPING CLERK 2nd Shift GRADE: 10

Essential Functions:

1. Process shipping papers for overnight shippers (such as Federal Express, UPS, Emery, etc.)
2. Perform kitting procedures.
3. Operate and perform user maintenance on foam packing equipment.
4. Pack and label outbound shipments.
5. Load and unload trucks
6. Putting stock away as directed
7. Perform duties related to stockroom, receiving, and shipping
8. Operate label maker and print labels as needed
9. Other duties as assigned.

Skill Set:

Able to operate a pallet jack/fork lift or be willing to get certification

Must be able to operate foam packing equipment and perform user

Maintenance or willing to learn

Familiar with government packing procedures and how to process air shipments.

Hazmat Certified or willing to become Certified

Must be able to lift, push, pull 50 lbs

Must have working knowledge of basic math skills

Comfortable using a computer and various programs
