We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform a full range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures while producing high-quality images for physician interpretation. The technologist will ensure exceptional patient care, maintain imaging equipment, and support efficient workflow in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Perform comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
\n
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for accurate interpretation.
\n
• Prepare and maintain patient records and imaging documentation.
\n
• Operate, troubleshoot, and report malfunctioning ultrasound equipment.
\n
• Safely transport patients to and from the imaging department as needed.
\n
• Maintain an efficient workflow by accommodating both scheduled and emergent examinations.
\n
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to infection control and quality standards.
\n

Minimum Requirements

\n

\n
• BLS Certification (AHA)
\n
• ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience in an acute care hospital
\n
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and patient care
\n

Schedule

\n

\n
• Shift: 5 × 8-hour shifts
\n
• Hours: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
\n
• Additional: Occasional overnight shifts as needed
\n
• Weekend Rotation: Required
\n
• On-Call: Required based on patient census
\n
