About this job

Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Ensure all food orders are completed correctly and plated to standard
  • Check dishes for accuracy, presentation, temperature, and quality before they leave the kitchen
  • Prioritize and organize orders to ensure timely service during busy hours
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with line cooks, servers, and managers
  • Keep the expo station clean, organized, and fully stocked
  • Help manage ticket times and communicate any delays or special requests
  • Monitor kitchen flow and help resolve any issues in real-time

Required qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

  • 18 years or older
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Speaks English
  • Speaks Spanish
  • Available to work: weekends
  • Available to work: holidays
  • Restaurant back of house skills: expediting
  • Restaurant back of house skills: safe food handling
  • Restaurant front of house skills: running food
  • 1+ year of experience in the food & restaurant industry
  • Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
  • Able to stand for duration of shift
  • Able to comfortably lift 40 lbs
  • Food Service license/certification: ServSafe Food Handler Certification
