About this job

Responsibilities

Act as the liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff
Ensure all food orders are completed correctly and plated to standard
Check dishes for accuracy, presentation, temperature, and quality before they leave the kitchen
Prioritize and organize orders to ensure timely service during busy hours
Communicate clearly and efficiently with line cooks, servers, and managers
Keep the expo station clean, organized, and fully stocked
Help manage ticket times and communicate any delays or special requests
Monitor kitchen flow and help resolve any issues in real-time

Required qualifications:

Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

18 years or older
Reliable transportation to and from work
Speaks English
Speaks Spanish
Available to work: weekends
Available to work: holidays
Restaurant back of house skills: expediting
Restaurant back of house skills: safe food handling
Restaurant front of house skills: running food
1+ year of experience in the food & restaurant industry
Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
Able to stand for duration of shift
Able to comfortably lift 40 lbs
Food Service license/certification: ServSafe Food Handler Certification
