About this job

 We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This position involves inputting, updating, and maintaining data in our systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. 
Key Responsibilities

Data Entry
: Accurately enter, update, and maintain information in various databases and systems from various sources, such as paper documents, online forms, and audio recordings.


Verification
: Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting any discrepancies.


File Management
: Organize and manage electronic files to ensure easy retrieval and systematic storage of data.


Reporting
: Generate and prepare reports based on entered data for internal and external stakeholders.


Confidentiality
: Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and in accordance with data protection regulations.


Communication
: Collaborate with team members and departments to gather necessary information and address any data-related inquiries.


Quality Control
: Assist in developing and maintaining data entry procedures and best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency.


Technology Utilization
: Use data entry software and tools effectively to perform tasks, ensuring familiarity with relevant applications.


Time Management
: Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.


Continuous Improvement
: Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated with industry best practices.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in data entry or administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setting.
Benefits
Medical Insurance
The coverage begins for the employee the on the first of the month following the first full 30 days of full-time employment for employees and their eligible dependents
Cost to the employee to participate in the plan varies by the coverage selection and the number of dependents; and may be subject to collective bargaining agreement
