pstrongspanJOB FUNCTIONS:/span/strong/p ol lispanProgram Responsibilities/span/li /ol ul lispanArrive on deck, in uniform, ready to open pool promptly at scheduled time./span/li lispanSmile and greet members courteously/span/li lispanAssist in planning, organizing and implementing a full composition of aquatic special events to include but not be limited to lap swim incentives and water walking incentives/span/li lispanMonitor lap swimmers and designate fast or slow lanes when required./span/li lispanExplain class and pool procedure to program participants, enforcing all posted pool rules./span/li lispanProvide friendly courteous service to all members, clients and volunteers of the YMCA./span/li lispanReport all accidents and incidents to supervisor on appropriate forms./span/li lispanWear appropriate lifeguard attire as requested by supervisor./span/li lispanAttend all staff meetings scheduled by supervisor./span/li lispanSecure ALL pool doors at the end of your shift unless properly relieved by another certified staff member/span/li lispanCommunicate to all program participants and all members all program and membership promotions./span/li /ul pspan /span/p ol lispanFiscal Responsibility/span/li /ol h4spanNone/span/h4 pspan /span/p ol lispan Supervision of Personnel/span/li /ol h4spanNone/span/h4 pspan /span/p ol lispanFacility/Housekeeping Responsibilities/span/li /ol ul lispanProperly test water for chemical balance and record at assigned times.
