Are you experienced working with children? /span/p pspanNew Grads are welcome to apply./span/p pstrongspanOur ideal candidate will:/span/strong/p ul lispanCreate a camp culture of positive mental health, trauma informed care, cultural humility, and behavior management/span/li lispanProvide on-going training and guidance to front line counselors on how to: minimize common behavior problem and how work with campers who display a diverse array of emotional and behavioral challenges. Intervene with campers when appropriate to prevent or resolve problems./span/li lispanMaintain proper documentation./span/li lispanEngage in clinical supervision./span/li lispanBe a Mandated Reporter./span/li lispanCoordinate with the Camp Director and Clinician, the Camper Support Team including co-leading Tuesday morning team meetings to review the Camper Concern Logs./span/li lispanDevelop and create individual support plans that recognize the uniqueness and interest of the child and works with team to ensure supports are in place With the Camp Clinician./span/li lispanCoordinate the actions or tasks identified in the Camper Support Plan./span/li lispanSupport the Clinician to act as a liaison to family and/or support systems or collaterals. When directed by Clinician or Director, facilitate communication with families and collaterals to provide updates and to problem solve any challenges. Provide resources when needed./span/li lispanMonitor camp groups for behavior trends. Support Camp Counselors and Clinician to facilitate special topic groups as needed./span/li /ul pstrongspanJob Type:/span/strongspan Seasonal– 40 hours a week/span/p pstrongspanPay:/span/strongspan $18.00 - $20.00 an hour based on degree./span/p pstrongspanSchedule:/span/strongspan Shifts range Monday to Friday.
