You will be empowered to make the shopping experience thrilling and seamless for our guest and be part of a dedicated team that shows pride and passion in all they do!/span/span/p p/p p /p pspanstrongspanAS A MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE A TYPICAL DAY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:/span/strong/span/p ul lispanspanClean, sanitize and maintain stores salesfloor including floors, walls, baseboards, ceiling tiles, air vents, fitting rooms, touchpoints, and restrooms./span/span/li lispanspanClean, sanitize and maintain exterior of store including windows, doors, cart corrals and garbage/debris/span/span/li lispanspanClean, sanitize, and maintain checkout area including daily removal of hangers and touch-point sanitization/span/span/li lispanspanClean, sanitize and maintain break room appliances, light fixtures, water fountains and store fixtures/span/span/li lispanspanRestock required supplies in restrooms such as soap, toilet paper and paper towels/span/span/li lispanspanKeep garbage containers clean and replace bags as needed/span/span/li lispanspanPerform general maintenance in store as necessary, including but not limited to replacing light bulbs, general equipment repairs, carpet and tile cleaning, minor painting, and miscellaneous repairs/span/span/li lispanspanPerform all tasks safely and assume ownership for Guest and Associate safety in accordance with Bealls Inc. policies and procedures/span/span/li lispanspanMonitor supply of cleaning and sanitizing products, restroom, checkout supplies, and communicate requests to Manager/span/span/li lispanspanPerforms other duties as assigned/span/span/li /ul p/p p /p pspanstrongspanWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A BEALLS OR HOME CENTRIC MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE:/span/strong/span/p ul lispanspanWork both independently and with a team to accomplish tasks, solve problems, and achieve goals/span/span/li lispanspanHelpful attitude toward guests and other team members/span/span/li lispanspanAttention to detail and follow multi-step processes/span/span/li lispanspanAbility to work varying hours and schedules to include days, mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays/span/span/li /ul p/p p /p pstrongspanspanPHYSICAL DEMANDS:/span/span/strong/p ul lispanspanMust have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations/span/span/li lispanspanMust be able to lift, push, pull and carry at least 20 pounds/span/span/li lispanspanMust have full body rotation and mobility (i.e. – bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching)/span/span/li lispanspanMust be able to climb a 12-foot ladder for maintaining light bulbs and air vents/span/span/li lispanspanMust be able to handle cleaning equipment (vacuum, broom, mop, duster, etc.) used for maintaining cleanliness and sanitization/span/span/li lispanspanMust have full hand usage to operate hand tools/span/span/li lispanspanMust possess reliable transportation/span/span/li /ul
