Monitor, record and communicate patient condition. Perform advanced respiratory care modalities./li liEvaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome./li liEducate the patient and family about the health condition and provides information about community support groups and other available programs./li liRespond to emergency resuscitation team code./li /ul h2What You Will Need/h2 pLicensure / Certification / Registration:/p ul liBLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted./li liRespiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required./li liRespiratory Therapist credentialed from the Alabama Board of Respiratory Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required./li liAdvanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted./li liCertification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred./li liPediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
