Hotel Maintenance Mechanic - Full-time

h2About the Role/h2 p /p pThe Maintenance Mechanic will perform operations, repairs and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing to equipment within the facility, while acquiring skills and knowledge to complete the training required to obtain licenses. The hours for this position are 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM - must be able to work weekends, Washington, DC. Pay rate: $18-$22 depending on experience./p p /p pThe typical day will go something like this:/p ul liDaily, weekly and monthly inspections of systems and associated equipment/li liPerform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis/li liMaintain equipment to industry standards/li liDiagnose and repair simple HVAC, plumbing and electrical problems as required and/or as assigned by supervisor/li liProvide assistance and support to sub-contractors designated to perform installation and/or repair of equipment and/or hardware as required/li liInterface with building manager and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction/li liComplete daily, weekly and/or monthly reports of system status as directed by supervisor/li liRun wiring, cabling, and ductwork, and mount equipment according to specifications as directed/li liPlace or remove systems and equipment as directed/li liPurchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion/li liPerform other duties as assigned/li /ul h2You Should Have/h2 ul liMust be available to work all shifts/li liMust be available to be on call 24/7/li liBasic coursework in electrical and HVAC systems/li liUniversal CFC/R-410A/li liPrior hotel experience a plus/li liReliable transportation/li liAble to lift sixty (60) pounds/li liCapable of ascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet/li liPossess excellent customer service skills/li /ul pEOE, including disability/veterans/p p /p h2Why You'll Love Working With Us/h2 pComplete Building Services (CBS) is a company that is passionate about the operation and maintenance of facilities in the commercial and public sector.
