pDescription/ppstrongDEPARTMENT:/strong Beverage Servicebr/strongREPORTS TO: /strongRestaurant Manager/ppstrongRESPONSIBILITIES:/strong/pp· Receive and take guest orders and process in a timely manner through whatever systems are currently used in the restaurant./pp· Serve food and beverages to guests./pp· Perform sidework as assigned/pp· Operate point of sale system./pp· Straighten chairs, and keep floor free of debris./pp· Clean service area and replenish as needed./pp· Bus and set tables./pp· Handle cash and credit transactions./pp· Perform other duties as assigned./pp· Communicate with support crew and management./pp· Adhere to the Coury Hospitality Cash Handling Policy.br/br/- Extend and total the check double-check for accuracy and have host sign it./ppstrongKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:/strong/pp· Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds repetitively/pp· Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays/pp· Knowledge of wine and other alcoholic beverages and have the ability to explain to guests./pp· Must be able to obtain a state liquor license./ppstrongEXPERIENCE:/strong/pp· Previous bartending or cocktail serving experience preferred./p
