pstrongHelp chronically homeless and individuals prepare for employment, build skills and support thier recovery journey experiencing severe and persistent mental illness!/strong/ppstrongnbsp;br/strongstrongEmployment Coordinators/strong are responsible fornbsp;planning, preparing, and helping to securenbsp;jobs for adults who live with mental health impairments and are working towards their recovery utilizing the Individualized Placement and Support (IPS) evidence-based practice. BACSrsquo; staff prides itself on doing strongwhatever it takes/strong./ppstrongLocations:/strong Hayward.or Oakland based; This is a community-based position and extensive travelnbsp; throughout Alameda County is required./ppstrongShift: Monday - Friday | Day Shift/strong/ph3strongEmployment Coodinator Responsibilities/strong/h3ulliAssess, plan, coach and advocate fornbsp;employment program members to find competitive jobs./liliManage a caseload of 20 program members in their employment search./liliSupport the general wellness and recovery plan for participants./liliMarket,nbsp;advertise, and collaborate with employers and potential employers, Department of Rehabilitation representatives and other team members.nbsp;/liliDocument and maintain all data collection, reporting, and charting records. Stay within required number of regulatory billable units per month (65% productivity)./liliParticipate in supervision, staff meetings, clinical consultation, on-call coverage, travel, crisis/emergency coverage, weekend coverage, and agency-wide meetings and training.nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp;/li/ulh3strongMental Health Team Member role/strong/h3ulliCollaborate and Coordinate as a member of a multidiciplinary Mental Health Treatment Team to meet IPS goals./liliParticipate in and facilitate TDM (Team Decision Meetings)nbsp;/liliFor FSP programs must attend daily ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) meetings/liliResponsible for managing both IPSnbsp; and medi-cal service documentation/liliEmbody emstrong"Whatever it takes"/strong/em philosophy of care in service delivery./li/ulh3strongEmployment Coordinator Qualifications/strongstrongnbsp; nbsp;/strong/h3ulliHigh School Diploma required and must have 4 years of paid work experience in mental health/social services (1 year of customer services may be substituted). Degree is preferred./liliOne year of experience in recruitment, marketing, and/or business to business strategy preferred./liliTwo yearsrsquo; experience in employment services for adults with mental illness preferred./liliDemonstrated intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel, ability to type 45WPM./liliValid California driverrsquo;s license, personal vehicle, and proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage are required. DMV printout required.nbsp;/liliExtensive local travel is required, vehicle reimbursement is provided. Care Coordinators/Employment Counselors transport clients in their personal vehicle.nbsp;/li/ulh3strongCompensation amp; Benefits:/strong/h3ulliStarting at $27.00 per hour, then $30.00 per hour after satisfactory performance and achievement of all job related goals and requirements for the 90 day introductoty period.nbsp;/liliFully paid medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage for employees and children./lili32 days off (PTO/Holiday), increasing with tenure, includes your birthday off.nbsp;/lili+3% per hour salary differential for "threshold" language fluency in Alameda county ( Chinese, Cantonese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Farsi, Cambodian and Tagalog)/lili403b with BACS matching contribution after one year of service./liliAfter 1 year of service - $3,000 per year student loan debt payment, tuition or continuing ed costs.
