Those who currently possess a CDL license are preferred, but we will train non CDL applicants./p p$750.00 Employee Referral Bonus!/p pWE OFFER:/p ul liDental Insurance/li liFlexible Schedule/li liVision Insurance/li liHoliday Pay/li li$ Referral Bonuses/li liPositive team atmosphere/li /ul pEssential Duties and Responsibilities/p ul liTransport students in a timely manner to and from school and to and from school activities following district safety procedures and applicable State Board of Education rules and regulations./li liOperate and safely drive a school bus in either good or adverse weather, road and traffic conditions while transporting passengers to school or special events. Comply with traffic regulations while operating vehicles in a safe and courteous manner./li liCommunicate bus rules/safety and behavior requirements to passengers; and address improper behavior immediately while using appropriate interpersonal communication skills./li liCommunicate with student’s parents to solve inappropriate or unsafe behavior utilizing strong interpersonal communication skills./li liAssist students/passengers boarding and unloading the bus when necessary, including wheelchair students and adaptive equipment./li liInspect buses daily identify and report deficiencies. Perform vehicle maintenance procedures such as fluid/fuel levels, tire pressure checks, wash/ clean internal/external, and install tire chains, and any other normal daily maintenance as required./li liResponsible to know rules, regulations (Federal, State and District) and laws concerning operation of a school bus; and comply with all traffic regulations./li /ul pQualifications/p pAbility to obtain Class B CDL with passenger “P”, school bus “S” endorsement with no airbrake restriction and a good driving record. Drivers must comply with part 391 of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and obtain/ sustain US DOT Medical Examiners Certificate.
