Thisbrrole requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a passion for providing abrmemorable culinary experience./ppbrstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/pollistrongGuest Service:/strongbr Greet guests warmly and professionally, guiding them through the dining experience.br Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about menu items,brbeverages, and specials with confidence and clarity.br Offer expert guidance on wine pairings and beverage selections to compliment the guestrsquo;sbrmeal.br Take accurate food and beverage orders, with diligence of all guests' preferences and dietarybrrestrictions. Must then communicate clearly to the kitchen and bar teams.br Provide attentive and personalized service throughout the meal and maintain awareness ofbreach tablersquo;s needs without being intrusive.br Handle guest complaints or concerns with grace and efficiency, ensuring their satisfaction bybrworking with the management team when necessary.br Menu knowledge and presentation:br Have a thorough understanding of the restaurantrsquo;s menu, ingredients, preparationbrmethods, and presentation to confidently describe dishes to guests.br Stay informed about daily specials, seasonal menu changes, and any new dishes orbrbeverages introduced to the menu.br Ensure that all dishes are presented and served to the guests in accordance with finebrdining standards and restaurant guidelines.br Order Management and communication:br Accurately input guest orders into the POS system, ensuring all modifications, allergies,brand special requests are clearly noted.br Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.br Communicate effectively with back of house staff, server assistants, and other teambrmembers to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.brbr/lilistrongnbsp;Table Maintenance and Cleanliness:br/strong Ensure that tables are properly set before guests are seated, maintaining the highestbrstandards of cleanliness and presentation.br Monitor guest tables throughout their meal, refilling beverages, clearing plates, andbrensuring each course is delivered promptly.br Work closely with the server assistant to keep tables and the dining area clean, tidy, andbrwell-organized.brbr/lilistrongUpselling and Guest Engagement:br/strong Utilize suggestive selling techniques to recommend food, beverages, and wine pairingsbrthat enhance the guestrsquo;s dining experience.br Be knowledgeable about premium menu items, including wine, cocktails, and Chefbrspecialties, to provide recommendations that align with guest preferences.br Engage with guests to create a personalized and memorable dining experience, takingbrnote of any special occasions or repeat guest preferences.brbr/lilistrongTeam Collaboration/strong:br Work collaboratively with the entire front of house team, including hosts, serverbrassistants, and bartenders, to ensure efficient and seamless service.br Assist teammates during busy service periods, covering sections or assisting with foodbrdelivery as needed.br Maintain open communication with managers to address guest needs or service issues.brbr/lilistrongnbsp;Financial Responsibility:br/strong Present guests with accurate and timely bills, process payments, and ensure that thebrguest leaves satisfied with the service provided.br Manage cash and credit card transactions in accordance with restaurant policies andbrprocedures.brbr/lilistrongnbsp;Qualifications:br/strong Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is highly preferred.br Excellent knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service, with a strong ability to make pairingbrrecommendations.br Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with guests in a professional,brpersonable manner.br Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.br Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.br A polished, professional appearance and a commitment to delivering impeccable service.brbr/lilistrongnbsp;Skills amp; Responsibilities:br/strong Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.br A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on providing an elevated guest experience.br Ability to anticipate guest needs and be proactive in delivering service without being prompted.br Strong teamwork skills, working harmoniously with both front of house and back of house staff.br A high level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism.brbr/lilistrongPhysical Requirements:br/strong Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.br Ability to lift, carry, and transport items weighing up to 25lbs.br Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching is required for table service.br Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed by the restaurants schedule./li/ol /div div id="how_to_apply" a href="https://chophouse13.recruiterbox.com/jobs/fk0pfp6/?apply=true"Apply to this job/a /div
