handles all freight inbound or outbound properly and orderly; maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping; loading / unloading of RJW truck / trailers and outside carriers safely and using proper procedures; ensures all shipments are correctly staged, checked, and loaded properly; responsible for properly storing stock in the warehouse; performs duties to provide material handling services for warehouse shipping and receiving handling activities.  Works from warehouse operations sheets using a forklift to pick customer orders and load on trailers.  Maintains forklift safety at all times following all safety policies and procedures./p pstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/strong/p ul liAssists Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient operation of the warehouse./li liAbility to operate sit down forklift and /or EPJs./li liGeneral understanding of computers and handheld RF equipment./li liLoads and unloads RJW truck / trailers safely and efficiently using proper procedures, including outside carriers equipment./li liFlexible to work 10 to 12 hours shifts when necessary and not afraid of heights./li liPicking and moving stock from 1 lb. to 50 lbs. multiple times./li liEnsures all shipments are correctly staged and loaded properly./li liMaintains warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping./li liProcessing outbound cross-dock freight as necessary./li liOversees storing stock properly in the warehouse and moving product into the storage racks./li liWorks from warehouse operations sheets using a forklift to pick customer orders and load on trailers./li liRecords and verifies the accuracy of the shipments against the paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments / deliveries. /li liEnsures all documentation and paperwork is properly completed./li liOperates forklifts safely and efficiently following all OSHA regulations, RJW safety policies, and procedures. ul liThis includes wearing of seatbelts at all times when operating the forklift./li /ul /li liCompletes daily forklift maintenance inspections./li liHandles all customer products properly and orderly./li liChecks deliveries for poor packing, general condition of materials, and free of damage.  Alerts Warehouse Supervisor of any problems, taking pictures if necessary./li liReports all accidents / incidents, to employee, damage of stock, or building damage to the Shift Supervisor immediately./li liSpotting of trailers to maintain efficient yard organization and flow of equipment for the day./li liMaintains access to dock doors both inside and outside the facility keeping them free of debris or snow./li liOther tasks as assigned by manager./li /ul pstrongAdditional Responsibilities:/strong/p ul liPossesses a sense of urgency, accountability, and be able to work with limited supervision./li liGeneral understanding of computers and handheld RF equipment./li liHe/she must be able to read, write, and understand English./li liAttention to detail and quality a must./li liGood communication, clear and concise, problem resolution, and people skills./li liFlexibility in working overtime when needed, and supplying coverage to other shifts./li liPC skills helpful./li liMajor experience on sit down forklifts/EPJs/li liExperience in building pallets with stock and breaking down stock to fill independent orders./li liExperience in cross docking freight process./li liAbility to work in a fast paced warehouse./li /ul pstrongQualifications:/strong/p ul li3-6 months of forklift driving experience in a warehouse using sit down forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks./li liGood stable work record./li /ul pstrongEducation and/or Experience Required:/strong/p ul liHigh School Diploma or general education diploma (GED)./li liWarehousing certifications a plus./li /ul /div divdiva href="https://apply.hrmdirect.com/resumedirect/ApplyOnline/Apply.aspx?req_id=2179095source=2179095-CJB-0"START YOUR APPLICATION/a/divdiv/div/div /div div/div div/divdiv br /a href="https://www.rjwgroup.com/"Visit Our Home Page/a /divp© 2025 RJW Logistics/p p a href="https://www.clearcompany.com" iApplicant Tracking System Powered by/i  /a /p /div
