The OR Radiology Technologist performs radiographic procedures in an operative setting, assisting surgeons and radiologists by providing high-quality imaging while maintaining radiation safety and patient care standards.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Perform radiographic procedures in the Operating Room setting. \n
- Operate C-Arm and portable X-ray equipment. \n
- Prepare and administer contrast media as required. \n
- Monitor and report adverse reactions to RN/supervisor. \n
- Obtain high-quality radiographs with minimal radiation exposure. \n
- Follow radiation protection protocols for patients and staff. \n
- Verify patient identification and physician orders before procedures. \n
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, radiologists, and OR staff. \n

- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program \n
- ARRT Certification \n
- New Jersey State Radiologic License \n
- BLS/CPR Certification \n
- Minimum 1 year of experience required \n
- 2+ years OR X-Ray Technologist experience preferred \n

- Portable X-Ray machines \n
- General X-Ray \n
- Radiographic procedures \n
- Patient safety \n
