- Registered Nurse position in Medical-Surgical specialty at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
- Facility is a 107-bed, Joint Commission-accredited hospital serving Graves County and surrounding areas.
- Role involves working in Medical Surgical Combination 1 department with 1 opening.
- Patient population served includes all ages with common diagnoses such as COPD, post-op joints, and diabetic population.
- Patient ratios up to 1:6 with PCA assistance.
- EHR system used is MediTech.
Job Details
- Must have Registered Nurse License in Kentucky.
- Required certifications prior to start include BLS, ACLS, and HWC.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical specialty.
- Must be kind, caring, and compassionate.
Job Requirements
- 36 hours per week guaranteed.
- Weekend hours every other week or as needed.
- Call requirements as needed.

- Number of Beds: 57.
- Patient Ratios: Up to 1:6 with PCA assistance.
- Supervisor: Med Surg Director.

Unit Specific Information
- Orientation is weekly on Mondays.
- Local rate applies for candidates within 60 miles; this is a travel position.
- Float requirements as needed with possibility to float to like units.
- Dress code allows any scrub color; branded attire from other facilities is unacceptable.
