American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Ortho/Trauma Unit position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring at least one year of RN experience and an active OK or compact RN license.

• Inpatient hospital setting on an Ortho/Trauma Unit
\n
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)

• 13-week contract

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact (eNLC) RN license
\n
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; all certifications must be AHA-issued
\n
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
\n
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
\n
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
\n
• Full date of birth (DOB) required for consideration
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Candidates with charge nurse experience are highly preferred
\n
• Responsible for managing an assigned patient group, including documenting patient responses, administering medications, monitoring IV infusions and blood products, and coordinating care with physicians and support staff
\n
• Engages patients and families in care planning throughout the hospital stay and at discharge
\n
• Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate
\n
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a new contract (workers may extend once, for a total of 26 weeks maximum)
\n
• This facility enforces strict compliance deadlines and will not negotiate start dates; candidates should be prepared to complete all onboarding requirements promptly upon accepting an offer
