Canton Chair Rental / Party Savvy, Stark Countys leader in the event rental industry, is hiring energetic and dependable individuals for a seasonal opportunity supporting our delivery, tent installation, and warehouse teams. In this hands-on role, you'll help load and unload event rental equipment, assist with setup and teardown at client venues (typically within a 50-mile radius), and install tents and other essentials like staging, lighting, and dance floors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring on-time setup/installation, breakdown, and pickup while collaborating with our team to handle events seamlessly.
• Coordinate closely with our sales and warehouse teams to ensure accurate equipment handling and order fulfillment.
• Conduct quality control inspections to maintain our high company standards.
• Operate moving equipment such as carts, dollies, and pallet jacks.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles at different venues, such as our warehouse, client homes, stadiums, and more.
• Assist with tent setup/installation and removal along with other equipment.
• Clean, prep, and maintain rental equipment, delivery vehicles, warehouse, and grounds.

• Perform additional duties as required.

Work Conditions:

• Be prepared to work indoors and outdoors in various locations and weather conditions.
• Work as part of a team in high-energy environments, often under tight timelines.
• Prioritize safety when operating potentially hazardous equipment, with appropriate safety measures in place.
• Expect physical demands including bending, lifting, and repetitive movements.

Schedule & Pay:

• Flexible shifts are available to accommodate school breaks, summer schedules, or other seasonal availability.
• Shifts typically run in 4, 8, or 12-hour increments.
• Final schedule will be determined collaboratively with management.
• Monday Friday and weekends as needed depending on client needs and requests.
• Flexibility required for varying start/end times, ranging from early mornings to late evenings.
• Potential for overtime during peak season.
• Pay Range: $13 - $15 an hour depending on experience, shift, and role.
• Seasonal Position: Our busiest months run from April through October. However, there is potential for long-term employment based on factors such as attendance, performance, and business needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Proficiency in the English language (written and verbal).
• Basic math skills, including understanding fractions, percentages, and ratios.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to interpret various forms of instruction.
• Must be able to stand, lift, bend, and move repetitively for extended periods in a warehouse and outdoor setting.
• Depending on the specific role, you may regularly lift and/or move up to 25 or 50 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
• Willingness to be cross-trained in other departments.
• Pass a company background check and limited drug screening (excludes marijuana).
