Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a general sonography position at an acute care hospital, requiring ARDMS certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

  • General ultrasound unit in a hospital setting
  • \n
  • Weekend shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • \n
  • Choice of 3x12-hour shifts (2:30 PM–3:00 AM) or 3x10-hour shifts (2:30 PM–1:00 AM)
  • \n
  • On-call required one night per week from 1:00 AM–6:30 AM
  • \n
  • Vascular experience preferred
  • \n
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • \n
  • 13-week contract
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience
  • \n
  • Current BLS and ARDMS certification required
  • \n
  • Active professional license required if applicable
  • \n
  • Epic EMR proficiency required
  • \n
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for a travel contract
  • \n
  • At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
  • \n
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • \n

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • \n
  • All RTO requests must be submitted upfront; minimal RTO is strongly preferred
  • \n
  • Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
  • \n
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • \n
  • Local candidates are not accepted for this position
