Job description
Summary of Job Purpose:
Inspects SafranHE family of engines and modules for serviceability and ensure proper configuration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to efficiently use measuring equipment in order to evaluate the serviceable status of parts and engine components
- Able to understand the main engine systems, reason for return, current scope of work and able to perform detail inspection accordingly to identify or confirm the origin of the reason for removal
- Able to efficiently use measuring equipment in order to evaluate the serviceable status of parts and engine components
- Works with Overhaul manuals and internal documentations to accept or reject individual components in Modules / Engines.
- Use Illustrated Parts Catalog and Service Bulletins to establish configuration of Module/Engines and identify potential missing parts
- Assist the department in conducting root cause analysis and containments in the frame of non-quality reviews
- Assist TPM schedule on all shop equipment.
- Supports and ensures 5S practices of shop and work station.
- Ensures all system transactions are properly closed at the completion of each inspection.
- Ensures all parts have been accepted, sent for repair or rejected and ensures all necessary orders for repairs or allocations have been properly generated
- Supports all SafranHE and FAA rules and regulations.
- Supports SafranHE and management policies.
- Required "On Call" duty upon completion of training.
- Required Overtime when production schedule dictates.
Candidate skills & requirements
Required Competencies; Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities:
• Certificate from college or technical school; or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience on visual and dimensional inspections on parts required.
