Job Description
The UH Cleveland Medical Center – Seidman Cancer Center 6 is a 30 bed Surgical oncology/MICU stepdown. SCC 6 has 24 beds that specialize in gynecologic cancers, Whipple/pancreaticduodenectomy procedures, brachytherapy treatment, breast, plastic surgery, & telemetry monitoring. SCC 6 is unique in that we have 6 designated MICU stepdown beds that specialize in treating patient with complex respiratory, gastro-intestinal, endocrine, renal, and metabolic conditions which require MICU step-down level of care

Education Requirements
Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program
License & Certification Requirements
An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
Note: Education and degree verification will be required upon receiving a job offer.
Preferred Qualifications
BSN preferred – only for positions that are getting filled
Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred
