About the Role:

 

As an RN in our 53-bed unit, youll care for a diverse range of patients in adult cardiology and medical-surgical specialties, including pacemaker placements, CHF, ACS, telemetry monitoring, and chronic conditions like diabetes, COPD, and addiction. You'll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate patient care while adhering to Legacy Healths high standards for patient assessment, care delivery, and transfer.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care for every patient.
• Advocate for patients by offering education and emotional support, helping them navigate their health journeys.
• Leverage cutting-edge electronic health systems to accurately document patient information and provide seamless care.

Qualifications

What Were Looking For:

 

Education:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program as required by licensure.
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is strongly preferred. If youre working towards your BSN, we encourage you to apply!
• For certain roles, a BSN is required. We also consider RNs without a BSN based on clinical experience and with approval from the Chief Nursing Officer.

Experience:

• At least one year of nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program (or equivalent program).
• Additional clinical experience may be required, depending on the department.
• Acute care experience preferred, this unit will train nurses that have a strong desire to learn and grow.

Skills & Qualities:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to navigate and utilize electronic health systems.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities because in this role, every day is different, and your expertise will make all the difference.
